If your brain were a tangible, physical place, what would it be like?

If my brain were a tangible place, it would be the skyline of New York City filled with my passions, inspirations, and aspects of my life that are significant to me. I used Adobe Photoshop to create a collage then overlaid it to align with the silhouette of NYC. I reflected the collage because I am constantly reflecting on my life and how the daily choices I make can affect my long-term goals. I attached the full collage above for your reference in order to fully explain the moving parts.

I have spent every other Thanksgiving in New York ever since I can remember. My father grew up in Queens and his side of the family lives in New Jersey, a short train ride from the city. It has been my dream to live in New York because it is the fashion capital of the world, full of culture and diversity, and would challenge me to be independent on another level. My mom was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and it has always been a dream of mine to visit the game reserves, as well as my family members that still live there. I included the Star of David because my beliefs are important to me and have shaped me into the woman I am today. Fashion and beauty images are incorporated throughout my project because I have always been passionate about makeup and fashion. Trends are constantly evolving, and new brands are always on the rise; I love observing the evolution of these two industries.
